DIC starts leasing open storage yards

Dubai Industrial City has commenced leasing nearly 2.8 million square metres of open storage yards to meet the huge demand from major automotive, equipment and construction companies. Demand for open storage yards Dubai Industrial City has risen due to its location adjacent to the Dubai World Central's Al Maktoum International Airport, its proximity to Jebel Ali Port and Free Zone, as well as easy accessibility to major highways, according to a press statement. Rashed Al Ansari, Vice President of Dubai Industrial City, said DIC has so far leased 60% of the allocated 2.8 million square feet of land and is planning to increase the area for open storage.
