Du to post $11m profit

UAE-based telecom operator Du has been forecast to post a year on year net profit of Dhs40.94m ($11m) for the third quarter - its first since launching last year, according to an industry forecast by Al Mal Capital Research. The predicted turnaround comes at least two quarters earlier than expected for Du, which said last year that it expected to become profitable only by the first quarter of 2009. According to the report, du's revenue is expected to grow to Dhs937.69m, up 127.5% year on year, reported The National.
