John Felix, Senior Vice President of Emirates Holidays commented:
"A year on from the first Emirates Airline flight to Sao Paulo, Emirates Holidays is delighted to offer Dubai residents a unique opportunity to visit this colourful country. Emirates Holidays is taking every step possible to ensure that guests receive a truly memorable experience of Brazil."

Sao Paulo City and Shopping Tour
Sao Paulo is a sprawling metropolis, serving as both the business and industrial centre of Latin America. The third largest city in the world, Sao Paulo is Brazil's most modern and cosmopolitan city, a melting pot of nationalities. Avenida Paulista's skyscrapers are a testament to the city's energy and artistic heritage. Known for its entertainment and nightlife, Sao Paulo also offers the finest museums in South America.

The packages include a full-day city excursion by private car. The highlights are Sao Paulo's famous Oscar Freire Street with its sophisticated restaurants, shops and art galleries; Morumbi Hill, for sweeping views across the city; and the iconic monument Bandeirantes, which pays homage to the first settlers.

Sao Paulo and Iguaçu Falls Tour

Bordering Brazil and Argentina, the Iguaçu Falls are one of the world's greatest natural wonders. Taller than the world-famous Niagara Falls, they are made up of over 270 falls spread over nearly two miles of the Iguaçu river. On average over 553 cubic feet of water per second thunder down highlighting the panoramic, breathtaking views of the waterfalls and rainforest.

Emirates Holidays packages include a full-day Iguaçu Falls excursion tour with local flights and airport transfers. Guests on the tour will encounter the Argentine Iguaçu Park and Devil's Throat, the largest of the waterfalls. A visa is necessary to cross over to the Argentine side which may be available on arrival, but travellers should check before they depart.

Packages include Economy Class flights from Dubai to Sao Paulo staying in a Deluxe Room at the Hilton Sao Paulo Morumbi for three nights.

Rio de Janeiro City Tour

Just a short flight from Sao Paulo is Rio de Janeiro, a city of beauty and contrasts, nestled within a magnificent setting of tropical mountains and the sea.

These holiday packages include a full-day city excursion by private car, which takes in the spectacular diversity of Rio as well as a traditional Brazilian barbecue lunch. Climb to the top of the Corcovado mountain to see the Christ the Redeemer statue (recently named as one of the Seven Wonders of the World), visit Rio's Art Nouveau monuments, and people-watch on the beautiful Copacabana and Ipanema beaches. You can ride a cable car to the Sugar Loaf Mountain as seen in the Bond movie "Live and Let Die" and feel the rhythm of the samba down the Sambodromo, the giant permanent stand used during the world-famous carnival.

For the more adventurous traveller, a further excursion (not included in the package price) takes in the Imperial City of Petrópolis, originally a farm where the imperial family of Brazil resided during the summer. Noted for its temperate climate, Petrópolis is a 90-minute drive from most of Rio's hotels through the Atlantic forest.

Skywards members will receive up to 20 per cent bonus miles when they book hotel accommodation for a minimum of three nights.
