Hertz UAE representatives are promoting the packages to travel agents in Saudi Arabia this week during the official Dubai Shopping Festival roadshow, which is being organised by DSF in conjunction with the Government of Dubai's Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing, and Emirates Airline.

Beginning in Muscat last Sunday and continuing through Doha, Kuwait and Bahrain over the following three days, the roadshow continues in Riyadh tomorrow (Sunday, December 22), Al Khobar (Monday, December 23) and finally Jeddah (Tuesday, December 24).

A Hertz UAE team is among representatives of 34 leading Dubai hotels, tour operators and car rental companies taking part in a series of travel workshops being staged to familiarise the local travel trade with the huge range of DSF attractions for visitors from around the Gulf region.

"The Dubai Shopping Festival has an enormous amount to offer families and individual visitors, and we're pleased to be playing our part in promoting its many attractions around the region," said Nitin Sapre, sales and marketing manager for Hertz UAE.

"Our special DSF car rental offers will be attractive to visitors who wish to take in many of the activities being held around Dubai, and at the same time explore other parts of the northern Emirates while they are here."

To help visitors find their way around Dubai and the rest of the UAE, Hertz also provides free maps and tourism information with all rentals.

Hertz UAE, which operates nine car rental outlets across the Emirates, recently boosted its car rental fleet with a range of new 2003 models, including the Honda Civic, Honda Accord and Toyota Corolla.

All cars are fully insured and undergo a 40-point quality check-up by Hertz mechanics prior to rentals which come with $1 million third party insurance coverage
