Solidere International unveils "Al Zorah Riviera" at Cityscape Dubai

Solidere International, one of the most prominent master and urban developers in the region, today announced its 'Al Zorah Riviera" residential complex at Cityscape Dubai, the international property investment and development exhibition being held at the Dubai International Exhibition Centre from October 6th to 9th.

Designed by Axel Schultes, the world renowned German architect, Al Zorah Riviera is the first residential project being announced on the Dhs220bn Al Zorah city, the largest development launched to date in Ajman.

Al Zorah Riviera will reflect outstanding design elements and the natural ambience of Al Zorah city. It will be strategically located on the sandy beaches of Ajman next to the Down Town district of the city, also known as the BALAD offering direct access to the beach with stunning views of the sea, old town fort and the marina. The project comprises six towers offering 1,400 -1,500 freehold residential units in an attractive mix of low and high rise buildings ranging from 22 to 45 floors high. The Project offers studios, one, two and three bedroom apartments.

Residents of each unit will enjoy unobstructed views of the sea (Arabian Gulf) and will have direct access to white sandy beaches. The towers will be surrounded by 5-star resort hotels, marinas as well as open public green spaces.

Nasser Chammaa, Chairman and CEO of Solidere International stated that Al Zorah Rivera embodies the innovative lifestyle destination offered by Al Zorah city. "Al Zorah Riviera offers a remarkable combination of world class design, serene surroundings and high quality urban living. Another major attraction of these homes is that they will reflect the Solidere brand standards and expertise.

A self-sustained master development situated just 25 minutes from Dubai International Airport, Al Zorah city, will provide all the comforts and amenities of urban living with residences set in beachfront 'villages', adjacent to a commercial office district, a number of marinas, championship golf course, entertainment destinations, hotels, hospitals and schools.

Infrastructure works are underway at Al Zorah with construction of the five major roads to be ready in the near future. "We are currently in the preliminary and detailed design stage and will be appointing the project's major contractors in the coming months. Meanwhile, the first coal-fired power plant in the UAE will be operational in Ajman in the coming three years, supplying power to Al Zorah city" said Imad Dana, CEO of the Al Zorah Development Company.

Al Zorah Development Company is a joint venture between the government of Ajman and Solidere International. The Government of Ajman has granted free zone and freehold status to the project to facilitate investments and ownership. A new 8.5 km highway will link Al Zorah to the Emirates Road thus offering excellent connectivity to international airports and the neighbouring emirates.
