Dubai's Department of Finance receives Quebec Minister of Finance

Mr. Mohmed Hamad Al Shehi the Deputy Director General along with heads of the departments received the Quebec delegation.

During the meeting number of topics were tackled, among which were budgetary cycle and process, surpluses investment policy, various kinds of taxations, infrastructure developments, and the use of public and private partnership. Tackling these topics showed the mutual understanding between both parties and their resolve to boost relationship. The UAE party demonstrated the financial experience of the Department, the applied systems, and the most recent developments.

Mr. Mohamed Hamad Al Shehi declared:

'Because of the new improvements and the changes taking place in the trade and finance fields, this meeting with the Quebec minister of Finance proved to be of great benefit, in the sense that various serious topics were tackled. Undoubtedly, this visit paved the way for future cooperation with the Quebec government.'

Meantime, Her Excellency Monique Jerome-Forget expressed her happiness and gratitude for meeting Mr. Al Shehi and the accompanied delegation. She clarified that the meeting was a good opportunity to get to know the latest methods applied by the Department of Finance and that she is looking forward to future cooperation.
