AXA Insurance Gulf reinforces position in marine cargo and enters 'Large Risks' arena

AXA Insurance Gulf has signed an agreement with AXA Corporate Solutions to further its strategic ambition to grow significantly in the Marine & Large Risks insurance and risk management sectors.

With AXA Corporate Solutions' support, it aims to become the region-wide leader in Large Risks insurance and strengthen its premier cargo insurance status offering world class insurance products and services.

AXA Corporate Solutions will work jointly with AXA Insurance Gulf's local operations developing insurance offerings for marine cargo, yacht and large commercial risks through its intermediary network and existing customer base.

Toby Sizeland, head of the AXA Corporate Solutions, said, "This new and exciting initiative will add significantly to the scope of products and services AXA Insurance Gulf offers to the market. We are building a new team with AXA Corporate Solutions specialists and will have support from expert AXA Marine & Large risks teams around the world."

AXA Corporate Solutions is a 100% AXA Group owned company with an AA rating by S&P. It operates in more than 80 countries worldwide with a premium income of over $2.50bn with a staff of over 1300. They are the dedicated AXA Group company for providing insurance and risk management solutions to large corporations for Engineering, Property and Casualty classes plus Marine, Aviation and Space insurance.
