Int@j brings $3bn Jordan opportunity to Gitex

The Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j) announced its participation in cooperation with Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) in Gitex Technology Week 2008 which will be held at Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre from the19th October till the 23rd.

"The Jordanian ICT market is expected to reach more than $3bn by 2011 which positions it as one of the most dynamic markets in the region. We consider Gitex to be the right platform to communicate our success and share our aspirations and expertise, pushing the growth vehicle, with IT leaders from around the world," said Abdel Majeid Shamlawi, Chief Executive Officer, Information Technology Association of Jordan (int@j).

The pavilion will host nine members of int@j to showcase their innovative solutions that address a wide range of sectors for the regional and global markets.

The nine members are: CrystelCall, Digital Letters Soft, ESKADENIA Software, Fourth Dimension Systems, Globitel, Global Technology, Middle East and North Africa Internet Technologies (MenaITech), Realsoft Advanced Applications and Sermon Business Solutions.

"Int@j is very keen to well represent the Jordanian ICT market through its ICT leaders of world wide providers of bespoke solutions," continued Shamlawi.

"The investment climate in Jordan is extremely attractive and promises a huge growth underpinned by a robust IT infrastructure. We look forward to our participation in Gitex this year and hope it will be as successful as always in bringing us knowledge and expertise."
