Launching in September, N.Bar and Zu Shoes have operational outlets at Ibn Battuta Mall.

"We are really proud to welcome N.Bar and Zu to Ibn Battuta Mall as these are brands that embrace quality of product and service as passionately as we do. As a mall that houses the world's most popular retail brands, we welcome franchises that are on par in brand recognition and would be appreciated by our discerning clientele,"

stated Marc Jones, Marketing Manager, Ibn Battuta Mall.

N.Bar re-opened its bigger and better store in a convenient, new location at India Court, Ibn Battuta Mall. "This store is the biggest N.Bar, with four pedicure rooms; the most a branch has ever had," explained Kathryn Louw, Marketing Manager, The Grooming Company. N.Bar never fails to deliver 'fast glamour for nails' and despite having spawned a string of imitators, both locally and in the gulf region, it remains the most-prominent, dedicated and successful concept for nail care in the Middle East.
Shoe lovers all over Dubai now have a treat 'in store' with the launch of ZU. Australia's best loved footwear chain launched its very first international store in Ibn Battuta Mall's Persia Court. Known and adored all over the land down under, ZU brings with it high fashion for your feet with the very latest designs of gorgeous footwear, accessories and trends.

The 100 sq. mt store itself is an eclectic mix of Men's and Women's Footwear and accessories - designed to give you a sense of glamour, style and sophistication. In fact ZU is so keyed in on fashion that the dedicated teams of ZU style experts prowl the catwalks of Milan, New York, London, Madrid and Tokyo with the intention of providing the trendy and the fashionable an innovative, contemporary and sophisticated outlet for footwear.

In addition to the new openings Ibn Battuta Mall will welcome a number of retailers before the end of 2008, including Body Shop, Cortefiel, L'Occitane, Costa Blanca, Nautica and Borders.

"We are trying to bring these major brands into close quarters of New Dubai, so that people living in the Marina etc don't have to trek into the centre to check out their favourite brands,"

stated Jones

About Ibn Battuta Mall
Ibn Battuta Mall is located adjacent to Sheikh Zayed Road between Interchanges 5 and 6. The Mall combines retail, entertainment, restaurant and family activities all within a uniquely themed environment. The inspiration for the theme of Ibn Battuta Mall is the travels of the legendary Arab explorer Ibn Battuta.

The unique design of the shopping mall and separately themed courts are based on his travels through Asia and the Middle East. Each of the six courts is themed on a country and a shopping zone to reflect Ibn Battuta's travels through Andalusia, Tunisia, Egypt, Persia, India and China. The spacious Mall, covering an area of 1.2 million square feet, offers a charming mix of shopping outlets, specialty shops, restaurants, a hypermarket and a cinema Megaplex featuring the UAE's first IMAX theatre. Parking space has been allocated for more than 5,000 cars, taking the total site space up to 5.4 million square feet.
