After the evening's events, H.E. Anil Wadhwa commented:
'The Festival will introduce guests to India's food, drinks and music through special events and tastings. All are invited to come and enjoy this exciting combination of the colour and culture, sumptuous food, entertainment, and the great music of India.'
A wide offering of Indian tastes and flavours inspired by Muglai, Frontier and Awadhi cuisine will be available, including a wide range of tandoori kebabs, traditional Indian bread, jeleebi. Celebrity chefs, Amit Gothwal and Nand Kishore both flown specially from India for the occasion, will demonstrate mouth-watering Indian cooking throughout the week's festivities.
'The goal of the Indian Celebrations Week is to both share our love and appreciation for our Indian friends and give all who participate a taste of the region so they are inspired to visit and enjoy firsthand the excitement and diversity of India,' said Mr. Todd.
The Indian Festival takes place at the Tropicana restaurant from 6th - 13th October. Guests can enjoy dinner from 19:00hrs every evening, and reservations are highly recommended. The weekly Indian Night, starting from 14th October, will take place every Tuesday. Reservations can be made by contacting the Crowne Plaza on 24 660 660 ext 4511 .
