CHEMANOL of Saudi Arabia appoints TCR as its third party inspection agency in India

TCR Engineering Services has been appointed as the Third Party Inspection agency by CHEMANOL of Saudi Arabia to inspect the manufacturing of their plant equipment in India.

TCR has placed a very linear and nimble team headed by a Project Manager based at their headquarters in Navi Mumbai. From this location, Qualified Sr. Inspectors are sent to various Vendor Locations across India. TCR performs Independent, third party inspection and quality assurance services, including Factory Audits, OEM Development, Raw Material Inspection, Initial Production Check, In-Production Check, Random Inspection and Loading Supervision directly on-site at various Chemanol's vendor locations across India.

CHEMANOL (former Saudi Formaldehyde Chemical Company Limited) is a grass root, second generation petrochemical complex located in the Secondary Industries Park at Madinat Al Jubail Al Sinaiyah (Jubail Industrial City), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, manufacturing premium grade Methanol Derivatives, such as Aqueous & Urea Formaldehydes, Formaldehyde derivatives, super plasticizers and various Amino resins. Chemanol represents a true manifestation of the objectives of the Saudi Ministry of Industry and Electricity and the GCC which jointly encourage the company imports substitution by installation of petrochemical units to manufacture value added downstream products utilizing the kingdom's natural hydrocarbon resources.

CHEMANOL has a SR2.05bn growth and expansion plan underway which, when completed by 2008, will enable an annual production capacity of one million metric tons of formaldehyde, derivatives and other downstream methanol based products. TCR Engineering Services as an independent Third Party Inspection Agency has been involved in the inspection activities for CHEMANOL right from the grass root level for the past one year. TCR has undertaken the complete project quality assurance and expediting activities including Inspection of Fabrication of Ammonia Storage Bullets, Material Identification, Welding PAR /WPS approval, Welder Qualification, Stage wise fabrication inspection, Approval of PWHT procedures, Welding and Painting inspection.
