LG Electronics appoints Class S.a.r.l as its GSM retail partner in Lebanon

In response to the growing demand in the local market, LG Electronics has appointed Class S.a.r.l retail chain of outlets as its GSM retail partner in Lebanon.

This appointment is part of LG on-going efforts to enhance the levels of service available to the local customers.

LG Mobile devices units, in its attempt to re-strengthen its presence in the Lebanese market and deliver best technology to its customers have resulted in having tow strong partners in Lebanon.

LG strongly believes that the success of its Mobile devices business will be heavily dependant on its retail and distribution partners and their dedication to serve its consumers wherever they are.

Mr. Mohammad El -Yassir, General Manager of Mobile Devices Unit for MEA Region, said:
"Our partners help deliver our products and experiences to consumers that are in steady demand for such solutions. Their in-depth knowledge & experience of the telecom industry challenges and opportunities in the local market is an invaluable asset to helping us achieve the goal of LG mobile handsets in Lebanon and the region."


As a retail partner, Class is authorized to sell the full range of LG Mobile Products at all Class outlets in addition to customer service support.

Class is the leading Telecom retail chain in Lebanon with more than 8 branches all over the Lebanon.

On its appointment as a new retail partner, Mr. Mustafa Al Shab, CEO of Class, said:
"This added partnership in Lebanon will be the initiative for a fruitful business relationship with LG. The agreement between Class and LG Lebanon will help us to further establish our reputation for excellent products."


He added: "The local mobile phone market is under increased pressure from a number of factors that compete for users' attention and wallets. Disposable income is being eroded by rising food and fuel prices and worries about global financial markets and slow economic growth are creating a cautious outlook for the years ahead. Against this backdrop, Lebanon continues to offer tremendous growth potential and we expect highly competitive pricing and innovative service plans to keep the overall mobile market on track."

All class outlets will be as of September 2008 be selling, servicing and providing spare parts of LG mobile handsets in all their branches.

Class and our strategic retail partner along with Digital technologies, who are our strategic distribution partners, will be the main vehicle of the come back of LG mobiles strongly to the Lebanese market.
