Husni Khuffash, Country Business Development Manager UAE, will be kicking off presentations with his team talking about the exciting trend taking the MENA marketing world by storm - Search Marketing. Or if you've ever wanted to know more about the latest fun Google products and gadgets like Chrome (the latest search browser), Knol or our iGoogle then Yasmina Brihi, Regional Marketing Manager for MENA will be on hand.

Lastly, we know many of you are excited to find out how you can take your company online into the 'Cloud' - Jesper Frederiksen, Head of Enterprise EMEA, is going to be at the booth to answer any questions regarding enterprise applications.
"We are very excited to be participating at our first Gitex conference this year in partnership with DIC" said Husni Khuffash. "Our participation showcases our efforts to continue engaging with our business partners and commitment to the Middle East."

Over the last year and a half Google has been busy in MENA. Google opened its office in Dubai in 2007 to focus on improving the search experience in Arabic while building relations locally and educating businesses about the possibilities of search advertising.

Malek Al Malek, Executive Director of Dubai Internet City said:
"Google is a global technology leader, offering information by the second to millions of people around the world. As a DIC business partner, we hope to establish more meaningful partnerships with Google and work towards finding innovative ways to augment the region's IT industry."

Yasmina Brihi, stated "We've worked so hard over the last year and a half to continue to bring more and more to Arab users on the web. Everything from launching Knol in Arabic as the second language worldwide to the launch of iGoogle, Gmail and Chrome in Arabic showcases our commitment to the region and providing access to information. We have a lot more to do but we hope Gitex visitors will come by the booth so we can show them what we've been up to!"
