"As a digital camera, you can capture vivid photos at a resolution of VGA (640x480), 1.3 (1280x1024), and an interpolation of 2M(1600x1024)," said Jihad Youssef, Sales Manager, GCT. "With full support for Windows XP/ Me/2000/98 combined with a size of 93x56x36 mm, the camera is a very good value proposition for the user."
The camera comes equipped with CMOS Image Sensor, self-timer, and NTSC/PAL TV output options. The new Genius DSC-1.3M can be used as a video camera to capture live video images with built-in 8Mb flash memory and SD/MMC card slot. This enables the sharing of videos or images with family and friends either by email, or web.
"With USB 1.1 interface, the camera can be attached to the PC and used as a Web Camera for video-conferencing in a program like Microsoft NetMeeting," added Youssef.
When the batteries are running low, the camera emits warning beeps and all functions are temporarily unavailable, until the batteries are changed.
