Splash launches the 2008 Autumn-Winter Collection

Splash, Dubai-based fashion brand, has launched the largest fashion night of its kind for the new autumn/winter collection characterized with its unique, colorful styles and vivid designs that are used to convey Splash's message "Eye on Design".

In a remarkable event and a diverse mix of opinion makers, experts, critics, and fashionistas from across 10 countries, Splash launched the AW08 collection which got an exclusive media coverage and attended by 700 VIPs, 30 models sashayed on the ramp in 80 ensembles from Splash's designs for the AW08 collection.

Splash's new collection combines the requirements for a neat and soft look that meets the latest fashion designs and satisfies its customers.

Splash has also lent itself the beauty and attractiveness through colors and designs that have been portrayed by the artistic imagination of its designers.

The show opened with high drama, while a dramatic music playing in the background, in seconds, elegant outfits showed up in the dark, it was an interesting mix of brocades, silk, taffeta and satin.

The glam-goth models stunned the guests with the trench coats, long dresses, tuxedos and jackets.

Raza Beig, CEO-Splash, closed the show by walking the ramp for the show finale along with Nisha Jagtiani, Business Manager-Splash.

Beig commented, "'Splash's Fashion Shows & After-parties have earned a reputation as one of the must-attend events in the region's fashion and social calendar. With this collection we are sure that the show will become an accurate forecast of the season's high-street fashion, what's trendy and how it'll reflect in the global market. Some of the key looks being showcased across Splash are Winter Florals, High-Society Glamazon, the New Frontier Boho, the Disturbed Misfit, Glam-goth and Geek-turned-chic.

The Winter Florals bring romantic hand-painted patterns, ruffled tops and dresses.

The High-Society Glamazon is a dressed up look that is created with the use of formal attire and traditional clothes and accessories.

The New Frontier Boho designs take inspiration from nature, colours reflection like brown, dull off-grape petunia, yellow and charcoal black.

The Disturbed Misfit shows a masculine tailoring reinterpreted into voluminous feminine knits to raggedy-tag silhouette and a vagabond charm.

Splash-Jordan, which is located in Centre Point, Mecca Mall, Has also launched Splash's 2008 autumn winter collection with winter bright colors and fabulous designs.

The new collection offers the highest level of sharpness in a secret touches and attractive designs, Splash adopted collections of bold colors that meet the modern fashions.

Yellow, hot pink and glittering blue against grey, black and ivory, and they all reflect a taste of contemporary designs and harmony for neatness.
