The flagship of the new line up, the NV100HD, excels with a sleek body design and features 14.7 megapixels - so far highest resolution in compact camera - 28 mm wide angle lens, 3" hVGA LCD, and HD connectivity. Another remarkable feature is the innovative touch panel user interface, Smart Touch 2.0 for an intuitive as well as quick field adjustment. Samsung Camera also introduced Perfect Portrait System, a set of face detection functions for an impressive portrait capturing without failure.

"Samsung Camera's award-winning NV Digital Camera range has set the benchmark for quality and innovation. We are thrilled to take the range even further with the launch of the NV100 and NV9,"

said BJ Kim, General Manager, Audio Visual division, Samsung Gulf Electronics.

"Moreover, with the introduction of the GX-20, we have further enriched our Digital Camera range so photographers of all levels will now be able to create high-quality video recordings at the touch of a button" added Kim.

NV100HD- The most advanced point-and-shoot digital camera in Samsung's history
Boasting an impressive resolution of 14.7 megapixels and renowned Schneider lens yielding a 28mm wide-angle focal length with 3.6x optical zoom, the NV100HD promises sharp, clear and detailed images with every shot. The most advanced point-and-shoot digital camera in Samsung's history, the NV100HD builds upon the success of its predecessor, the NV24HD, with the ability to capture high-definition video at a resolution of 720P along with Dual Image Stabilisation.

The NV100HD features an all-metal build and silver finish. An elegant red highlight also adds to the camera's elegance, providing a modern flare to an already impressive design. Although compact, a large 3 inch touch-screen hVGA (460K pixels) LCD dominates the back of the camera and is sure to turn heads no matter where the NV100HD may be used. Complementing the LCD screen is Samsung's Smart Touch 2.0 technology, which is a convenient and enjoyable way to interact with the camera's dynamic features and advanced controls—all with a gentle touch of finger.

NV9- The Ultra Compact Digital Camera

Samsung's NV9 is an ultra compact, 10.2 megapixel digital camera featuring a large 2.7 inch LCD, internal 5x optical zoom and Dual Image Stabilisation. The NV9 offers a variety of latest multimedia gadgets like personal media player, MP3 and text viewer for perfect entertainment.

The NV9 has a metal body measuring 95x59.9x21.3mm and incorporating a unique design element - the "Mini Dashboard". Users also benefit from a comprehensive suite of automatic controls designed to help them capture better images, portraits and group shots of family and friends in particular. The NV9's Face Detection Technology makes it easy taking snapshots of one's family and friends, as it detects up to nine faces and automatically focuses and exposures for perfect composition and image quality. Furthermore, Smile Shot technology detects changes in the expression of the subject and automatically takes a photo while Blink Detection ensures that the subject's eyes are open - which is often difficult to distinguish on an LCD screen.

GX20- Equipped with the best 14.6 Mega pixel CMOS of its kind

The Samsung GX-20, a DSLR camera, is equipped with the best 14.6 Mega pixel CMOS of its kind that produces excellent images with better clarity, and greater enjoyment when shooting, an Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) with shaking image sensor method, a de-dusting function, and various image correction functions which enable emotive images to be captured and saved. The GX-20 is an intermediate level of DSLR camera, and may satisfy families, amateur photographers, and even professionals.

The CMOS has the advantages of using a battery for extended time of use, with low power consumption and noise reduction at high sensitivity. Moreover, the CMOS image sensor can express clear images with high definition and excellent reliability in colour by improving the amount of light received per unit area through the refinement of the circuit process. The OIS quickly detects minor vibrations in the hands, and minimises camera shake by moving the image sensor in the opposite direction of the shakes.

The GX-20 camera has a specific dust- and waterproof design, on the luxury model DSLR body. 72 areas on the inside of the camera's body, such as the shutter button, the operational button and the dial, are sealed to minimise any internal damage to the camera from hazards such as water, sand and dust.
