Business Journalism in the Arab World Workshop at the American University of Beirut

The Suliman S. Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut (AUB), in collaboration with Reuters Foundation, is holding a two day workshop entitled "Business Journalism in the Arab World."
The workshop, which is open for practicing journalists from Lebanon and the region, will address various topics in business journalism such as global issues and challenges shaping business journalism, best practices benchmarks in global business journalism, current major problems in Arab business journalism, and the like.
Speakers at the workshop include guest speaker Anthony Hilton, Founder and Chair, The Newsdesk Media Group and Former Managing Director, The Evening Standard; George K. Najjar, Dean, Olayan School of Business/AUB; Mr. Nigel Stephenson, Editorial Training Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa - Reuters Foundation; Mr. Jamil Mroueh, Editor in Chief, The Daily Star; Mr. Nassib Ghebreil, Chief Economist, Byblos Bank; and Mr. Nigel Stephenson, Editorial Training Manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa - Reuters Foundation.
