All-new Magic Planet captivates visitors at Sharjah City Centre

Now spanning a total area of 1,841 square metres, the refurbished facility promises to keep its visitors captivated with its newly added rides and games.

Magic Planet was closed for renovation on April 9 this year and has now returned to entertain its fans like never before.

Five all-new amazing rides are now launched at the facility, including Jump Around, Grasshopper, Smash Bugs (Bumper Cars), Bug Catcher and Crazy Caterpillar.

Silvio Leidtke, General Manager of Magic Planet said,

"Our fans in Sharjah have a reason to rejoice as we are back with an enhanced experience of fun and excitement. In our effort to bring in fantastic and exciting games for our customers, we have renovated our facility to accommodate entertainment options for all age groups."

The new ride Jump Around is a first-of-its-kind fully interactive family ride that has beautifully themed ride bugs.

Magic Planet's another new addition Grasshopper lifts riders up to a height of six metres and in a flash of light, the passengers begin their vertical descent in a quick series of short drops.

The third addition to the portfolio is Smash Bugs or popularly known as bumper car that is now available on a smaller scale specially designed for children.

Another exciting ride is called a Ferris Wheel-like attraction called the Bug Catcher, which offers fun for kids of all ages.

The Crazy Caterpillar is a bright, cheery ride that features an exciting flying carpet motion and will appeal to people of all ages.

A new party room has also been introduced to hold family celebrations. For the first time, Magic Planet will have a combined area for video games and redemption games to entertain both the young and young at heart.

Magic Planet, which is a part of MAF Ventures, a company of the Majid Al Futtaim Group, previously had no rides at its Sharjah City Centre outlet and was spread over an area of 677 square metres.
