Financial Brokerage Forum in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday

The Financial Brokerage Forum (FBF) which is being inaugurated at the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers, Abu Dhabi, on October 14, Tuesday, will be graced by Arab speakers and international financial experts.

The forum, organized under the banner Investment in a New Global Economy, has the patronage of H.H. Eng. Sultan Saeed Al Mansoori, UAE Minister of Economy. It is organized by the Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA), in cooperation with Etisal Event Management Company and with the support of the Federation of Gulf Cooperation Council Chambers (FGCCC).

The forum will intensively study and discuss various aspects of the role of financial brokerage companies in the Gulf, and the best methods on how to deal with the current situation. It comes at a critical time, when some companies have been driven to bankruptcy, while others have been taken over by governments and big corporations.

H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Attiyah, Secretary General of the GCC, said that the forum is a great opportunity to listen to the views of decision makers, experts and workers in the finance sector from around the world. Speakers will discuss important issues like the financial crises in the USA and its impact on the region and work to increase investor awareness among professionals in the field.

About The Securities and Commodities Authority (SCA):

On January 29, 2000 HH UAE President issued a federal decree to set up a public authority in the UAE's capital, which was called "Securities and Commodities Authority."
