IMT will also provide a quotation for ICC colour profiles for other disk brands.
The DUO Marathon 304 integrated print and duplication system is intended for companies looking to make small and medium production runs in-house, but can also be used for specific applications in various spheres such as photography or medical imaging.
The DUO Marathon 304 is a robot equipped with 4 DVD/CD recorders and an IMT photo-quality inkjet printer. The robot is fed by a Marathon ink system for increased autonomy, and it has a 300-disk capacity. It is operated via Duplix software, allowing both single-station and network (up to 50 clients) utilisation.
All IMT solutions are BLU-RAY-compatible.

QuesCom:
- Using equipment connected to the company switch -
Once connected to the central switchboard, QuesCom 300 and 400 units made by French company QuesCom can generate savings on calls made to mobile phones. They will process every call so it transits via the most economical network: ISDN, GSM or VoIP. The company will be displaying the equipment from next October 19th to 23rd at the Gitex trade fair in Dubai.
Compatible with any GSM operator, any PBX or any SIP provider, QuesCom's equipment stands between the company switch and outside networks, whether ISDN (BRI or PRI) or IP (linked to an IPBX SIP or H 323). The appliance incorporates the totality of company SIM cards and provides each company user with a single number, whatever the call destination (landline, fax or mobile).
All calls transit through this appliance and as a result the cost of calls from landlines to mobile phones drops by 50%. For companies with business mobile phone plan, savings are all the more significant: calls made from the office towards employees' mobiles are free, as well as call transfers towards company GSMs.
International calls made from mobiles transit via the company. The calls connect to the equipment (subject to one licence per user) and then exit via the cheapest network: ISDN or VoIP. International calls are no longer billed on mobile phones. When an employee travelling abroad uses his mobile, his calls also originate from the company. If the company has sites in several countries, outgoing and incoming calls are billed as local calls. It can thus make a savings on international calls of over 80%.
Since each call is analysed, total traffic supervision occurs naturally. With the single number, mobile calls transit through the company. Fixed and mobile telephony are no longer perceived as being separate. Company business is seen in its totality, to be analysed more easily.
Packshot Creator:
- On the occasion of Gitex, Packshot Creator announces the opening of an office in Dubai -
Convinced of the significant potential of the Middle-East markets, Packshot Creator, inventor of the PC photo studio and a pioneer of its applications in Web Marketing and Rich Media, is announcing the opening of a sales and representative office in Dubai.
Following a successful first participation in 2007, Packshot Creator will once again attend Gitex, an international trade show devoted to new information and communication technology, to be held in Dubai from October 19th to 23rd, 2008. Packshot Creator's presence at this 6th edition is part of the company's strategic perspective on the development and opening of a commercial structure for the Middle-East zone.
The trade show will also give the company the opportunity to announce the '2009 version' of its real-time images and 3D animations capture and management solution. Featuring new functionalities, the software's new version increases user efficiency. Among its innovations, a configurable FTP transfer interface and a close-up functionality have been developed. The former enables the user to shorten processing time since images and animations can be transferred by simply ticking a box. This facilitates Rich Media content broadcasting. For its part, the close-up functionality helps produce photographs in macro mode automatically. This is particularly appropriate for quality control images, for instance.
Concerning the company's establishment in Dubai, Laurent Wainberg, Head of Packshot Creator, explains:
'The Middle-East is a fast-expanding market. It is a strategic region for us. We chose Dubai as a Middle-Eastern base since it provides a favourable commercial environment. The diversification of Dubai's economy in favour of new technology, luxury trade and tourism over the last few years makes it a major area of opportunity for Packshot Creator, insofar as our range of products can optimise product communication across all corporate divisions: Marketing & Communication, Quality Control, R&D, E-commerce, Multimedia and more.'
The new office, located in the Silicon Oasis Park area, will help the company consolidate its Middle-Eastern presence by providing the region's customers with more proximity.
'By opening this branch office, we are demonstrating our commitment towards this market and our customers,' asserts Laurent Wainberg.
'A local presence is critical in order to provide the best support to our customers and to boost our growth throughout a region where major business players are settling every day,' adds Audrey Martin, Development Manager for Packshot Creator.
Packshot Creator's objective is to substantially increase its business throughout the area. Its acknowledged experience in emerging and European markets puts it in good stead to meet the region's customer's stringent demands in quality and innovation.

TX-WEA:
- Thank CDs and DVDs facilitate photo archiving, document encrypting and email saving
Gitex 2008, Dubai -
Thanks to writing software integrated on the disk itself, these three new self-burning blank CDs and DVDs greatly facilitate burning and saving tasks. You can use the CDSoft-R Photo to burn photos in a few clicks, the CDSoft-R Cryptex to encrypt and protect confidential data and the DVDSoft-R Outlook to archive emails and clear your mailbox. Their designer, French company TX-WEA, will be displaying them at the Gitex trade fair in Dubai from October 19th to 23rd, 2008.
The CDSoft-R Photo is a blank CD medium with on-board burning software. It allows three-click photo burning from a computer or a digital camera connected to a PC. Pictures may be viewed and pivoted prior to burning on the CDSoft-R Photo. Multisession capability allows burning to take place in several sessions as long there is space left on the disk.
Using a similar principle, the CDSoft-R Cryptex allows sensitive data safekeeping on a CD. It encrypts and burns the data automatically following the input of a password that will protect the CDSoft-R Cryptex content.
The DVDSoft-R Outlook has software that allows easy email saving and helps clear mail browser mailboxes (Outlook, Outlook Express Windows mail). Without the need of any install on the PC, it archives the messages, encrypts them for security and protects them via a simple password.
Operating autonomously, the engine integrated within the software residing on the CDSoft-R Outlook allows easy retrieval and reading of messages and their attachments on any computer, directly from the CDSoft-R Outlook.
