Jumbo Electronics gives customer satisfaction a new dimension

Jumbo Electronics, the UAE-based consumer electronics giant, today announced its ambitious retail expansion strategy for the region.
Quwain, the Retail Division of Jumbo expanded its stores to 26 and completed the first phase of its retail strategy. It is now uniquely placed as the only electronics retailer with a presence in all 7 Emirates of the UAE. Jumbo now plans to increase its retail stores to 50 by opening an additional 24 stores over the next 24 months. This move will provide customers the convenience to experience a wide portfolio of brands at their doorsteps. It will also boost Jumbo's role in the supply chain by providing manufacturers and brands better access to customers and markets.
Mr. Vishesh L. Bhatia, Director (Operations), Jumbo Electronics said, "Our experience with the retailing industry has shown that customers are consistently looking out for greater convenience, higher levels of service, better selections of brands and increased information. With our new retail strategy, our customers will have the convenience of experiencing the world's best brands at a friendly Jumbo Electronics store virtually right next to their homes."
Added Mr. Bhatia, "Importantly, this move will further enable us to offer wider distribution reach and supply chain benefits to world's leading brands like Sony, Supra, Casio, Electrolux, Nokia, Ericsson, Fujitsu-Siemens, Compaq, IBM, Intel, Brother and Ricoh amongst many others. Our business partners will benefit from appropriate brand visibility, consistent marketing communications and real-time customer demand information through the expanded retail network".
