Dubai Municipality organises arts competition on wetlands for children

Dubai Municipality's Environment Department is organizing an art competition on wetlands for children of 5-18 years under the banner "Healthy wetlands... Healthy people."
Explaining terms and conditions of the contest, Mohammed AbdulRahman Hassan, Head of Marine Environment and Wildlife Section, said each participant can submit only one art work. Any medium like paint, crayon, pen, pencil..etc. can be used and the size of the art paper is maximum A3.
The name of the artist (age), and the title of the picture (in English) should be included according to the following diagram:-
Dubai Municipality will affix the country flag and name. The pictures or paintings should be fastened securely to a paper frame with a maximum size of A3.
He said after the conference the art work will be the property of Ministry of Environment in South Korea to be used in exhibitions for awareness about importance of wetlands.
The art work must be submitted not later than 18 October 2008 to the following address:- Dubai Municipality, Environment Dept., Environment Education Section, P.O. Box: 67.
Dubai, or delivered by hand to: Dubai Municipality main bldg. (A), 6th floor. Room No.25. There will be cash rewards for the first and second positions.
