ICAI Dubai Chapter appoints new managing committee

The Dubai Chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently elected its new Managing Committee for the Year 2008-2009.
Other new executive members to the team include Shrikant Das, Shailesh Mulki, Nimesh Makwana, S. Devarajan and Shailesh Shenoy.
The Dubai Chapter of ICAI is the largest and most active among the 15 overseas chapters of the Institute.
The Local Chapter has been in existence for the past 25 years and currently comprises about 1000 members.
The Dubai Chapter of ICAI is actively involved in enhancing and updating the professional knowledge of its members.
They also conduct several lectures and seminars to keep members abreast of latest financial, corporate and accounting developments.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is the second largest accounting body in the world and currently has 140,000 members.
