The BMW Golf Cup International 2008 will be played at the renowned Jockey Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 1-6 December 2008 with 100 players taking part from 50 countries.
Over 100 Abu Dhabi Golf Club members participated in the qualifying event, with the top three eligible players securing tickets to fly to Buenos Aires, courtesy of Abu Dhabi Motors for the final competition.

The eligible winner of each handicap category - the Men's A division (0-12 handicap), Men's B division (13-28 handicap) and Ladies division - will represent the United Arab Emirates in the prestigious and successful amateur tournament in the golfing world.

The top three scorers of the event were Rupert Evans in the Men's A Division with a score of 42, Cliff Wisely in the Men's B Division with a score of 45 and in the Ladies Division, Jennifer Henderson scoring 27. Due to the qualifying criteria for the BMW Golf Cup International World Final, Jean Wang, who achieved 36, the second highest score in the Ladies Division, will join Rupert and Cliff in Argentina to represent the UAE in the tournament.
