Mindware's stand will be located at Hall 4, stand D4-11, where visitors will have the opportunity to view a wide array of top-of-the-line products from its international partners, including Intel, Microsoft, Symantec, Xerox, Citrix, Kingston, Boxsentry, Business Objects, McAfee, Novell, Quantum, Neverfail, Nexans, Wyse, Cheetah Networks, CA, Alcatel-Lucent, Juniper, Foundry Networks and Exinda. In addition, the company will also allocate a dedicated area in its booth to Dell, who has recently named Mindware as one of its GCC distributors. Company officials have revealed that Mindware's stronger presence at this year's GITEX is part of its efforts to achieve the 20% growth they have set for 2008.
"In our consistent annual participation at GITEX, we have come to recognise its importance in the regional IT market as the definitive event that gathers the movers and shakers of this booming industry,"
said Nada Haddad, Marketing Manager, Mindware.
"Last year, our presence has helped us promote and increase awareness of our products, solutions and brand among the media and IT communities as well as boost the sales of our various products and solutions. Through our stronger visibility this year, we are aiming to leverage the advantageous business environment to meet potential and existing partners and end-users and build relations by providing their required support."
In addition to its growth objectives, Mindware is also aiming to increase the breadth of its partners and product portfolio, and enhance the implementation of its value added distribution and operation strategies. Fuelled by these goals, Mindware's GITEX participation will also focus on informing the channel about its value added distribution - from pre-sales consultants to marketing and PR coverage for the region, to implementation of services and regional technical support. These wide-ranging value added distribution services and its outstanding regional distribution strategy has been recognised by various global IT companies, including Symantec, who has awarded Mindware three major individual performance awards this year.
"As an organisation fully committed to the advancement of the regional IT market, we are expecting our growing portfolio of state-of-the-art products, customer-focused distribution strategies and IT infrastructure to further drive our escalating reputation in the region. GITEX has played a significant role in our development, and we continue to view this event as an important part of our annual marketing and networking activities. As we embark on another extensive participation in this year's event, we are looking to connect with more SMBs and regional enterprises, as it is our continuous efforts to satisfy their needs that is sustaining our position as a leading IT distributor in the region," concluded Haddad.
Mindware has recently announced that it invested in a state-of-the-art office located in Riyadh, which will serve as a domestic hub for its KSA operations and is expected to usher in further business growth in the Kingdom. Leveraging its extensive geographical reach and regional expertise, the company has successfully forged strategic partnerships with the world's leading manufacturers. The company recorded $200m in revenues in 2007, reaffirming the company's growing market dominance, and is currently providing best-of-breed solutions to major regional markets including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Cyprus and North Africa.
