Acer committed to empowering its channel

Acer, the world's third largest PC vendor and the region's leading notebook provider, will be hosting a four day 'Corporate Lounge' at Emirates Towers, in an effort to address the needs of the channel and customers in a more targeted and focused environment.

The lounge will provide Acer partners and customers the opportunity to spend more quality time with Acer executives. Senior managers will also be present to meet and discuss possible future business ventures and strengthen existing ones, commented a senior executive.

"Acer's success in the region is a direct result of our channel initiatives,"


commented Aman Khan, Marketing Communications Manager, Acer Computer, Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META).

"This new concept of networking with partners and customers in an amiable environment will help facilitate stronger ties, allowing businesses of all concerned to grow."

"Our 'Corporate Lounge' will allow for direct interaction with channel, help us educate them on new Acer technologies, and more importantly address all business-critical concerns," added Khan.

Acer has a very strong and successful channel business model and is steadfast in facilitating the growth of the channel. In 2008, Acer hosted channel road shows in the capital cities of the region, where channel partners were able to meet with senior Acer executives.
