After opening Salama's Motor Claim Center in Jeddah, clients could simply head to the new specialized center, present their documents and receive immediate services supplied to them by a team of highly qualified and highly experienced staff.

Salama has achieved tremendous and beyond expectations growth. Sales increased by more than 100% in 2008 compared with the previous year 2007. The company is especially interested in serving its ever-increasing client-base. That is why it has been decided to inaugurate a separate Motor Claim Center in Jeddah to accommodate the increasing business in Jeddah and to meet clients' demands.

Mr. Khaled Barboud, Salama GM commented on opening the new center, "Our new Motor Claim Center in Jeddah comes as part of Salama strategy to serve the clients at their locations. Clients will now be able to enjoy high quality services, fast and easy. Undoubtedly, this will help us attract more clients and will support Salama position as one of the leaders in this industry."

He added: "Clients in Jeddah can now simply head to our Motor Claim Center, present their documents and receive immediate services, with ease and relevance. The center is operated by a highly specialized and dedicated team of insurance professionals, who are capable of simplifying the process and complete the procedures on immediate basis. However, the team is contained of a selection of Saudi insurance professionals, and here I take this opportunity to announce that Saudization in Salama has reached 56%, and we are continuously seeking to hire more ambitious Saudi youth, and provide them the appropriate training to join positions at all levels of the company.

"On other hand, we are planning to increase our branches within this year in several cities of the Kingdom. It is expected that number of branches will reach 15, while we will depend upon several representatives to cover other areas. We are confident that the new independent center in Jeddah will boost our operations and will enable clients an easy access to our services. Other motor claim centers will soon follow to cover other main areas in the Kingdom, which are currently served through our branches."

Islamic Arab Insurance Company is one of the leading global providers of Shari'ah compliant insurance solutions (Takaful). Incorporation in Dubai in 1979, as pioneers in the Takaful industry, Salama has six direct Takaful companies providing solutions to customers in Saudi Arabia, UAE, Egypt, Senegal, Algeria and Tunis.
