Main construction begins at Sukoon Tower

The announcement was made at a signing ceremony between Al Ghanah Contracting Company and Tashyeed Properties at a corporate event in the Novotel Hotel and Resort.

Present at the signing were Tashyeed Properties' Executive Management which included Dr. Kadhim Rajab, Chairman, Mr. Salim Al Mannai, Vice-Chairman, Mr. Redha Rajab, Managing Director, Mr. Shawki Fakhroo, Dr. Faisal Al Nassir Board Members, Mr. Redha Murad as well as Mr. Jameel Al Ghanah, Managing Director, Al Ghanah Contracting.

Al Ghanah Contracting is one of the leading contractors in Bahrain with an impressive array of Project Portfolio that includes many high rise projects in addition to commercial and residential complexes. The company was selected based on careful diligence of various technical prequalification parameters reviewed by the Tashyeed.

During the signing ceremony, Tashyeed Properties Managing Director Mr. Redha Rajab stated "We are very pleased to be signing with Al Ghanah and believe that this is an important step in positioning Sukoon Tower as an iconic development to take its rightful place in Bahrain's impressive skyline."

The appointment of Al Ghanah Constructions signals a key milestone for Sukoon Tower which is nearing completion of its ongoing massive Piling Works.

Sukoon Tower is a forty-five floor luxury residential tower with an estimated total construction cost of BD.55m, consisting of 592 apartments and 740 car parking spaces. The property consists of a vast area of landscaped gardens and well designed water features that bring the outdoors into the tower and provide its residents ample avenues to enjoy a breath of fresh air. A complete floor space of over 4,800 square meters, conveniently situated on top of the car park floors is aesthetically designed with outdoor and indoor recreational facilities.

The floor consists of a large swimming pool, kids' pool, outdoor and indoor cafes, multi-purpose hall and walkways. In addition to this, the Tower will also have a modern health club facility with indoor swimming pool, helipad on the roof, etc.
