- United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 15 - 2008 at 15:59
- PRESS RELEASE
Palladium Group, global market leaders in helping organizations execute their strategies, today announced the launch of its first Middle East regional base in Dubai Knowledge Village, a member of TECOM Investments.
Dr Ayoub Kazim, Executive Director for Dubai Knowledge Village and Dubai International Academic City, said: "Dubai Knowledge Village continuously works towards enhancing the required infrastructure for providing a strategic platform that will help our partners establish their footprint in the Middle East region. We are pleased to have Palladium Group in our growing knowledge community and are confident that organizations striving to become leaders in their respective industries will soon seek their highly effective advisory services."
Proven experts in strategy, finance and IT, Palladium's Balanced Scorecard (BSC), created by founders Dr Robert S. Kaplan and Dr David P. Norton, is the world's predominant strategy execution framework. Based on the simple premise that "what gets measured is what gets done," the BSC is also a performance management philosophy and system that links strategy to operations.
To help companies understand the performance gap between where they are and where they want to be, Palladium has also developed an Execution Premium Assessment™ (XPA™), which uses a proprietary algorithm to show cause and effect relationships between drivers of performance and performance results. By using XPA, organizations can successfully benchmark their performance with results-oriented companies globally.
Pablo Diego, President, Palladium EMEA, said: "We are delighted to open our office in Dubai, where we perceive a challenging and motivating environment that makes it a perfect place for drawing out the best in us. Our close proximity to our clients will allow us to enhance our service deliverables while establishing greater synergy, and lead to building stronger and more enduring relationships."
Palladium and its founders are ranked among the top 12 management authorities in the world by Thinkers 50, a definitive bi-annual guide that recognises top thinkers and ideas after examining more than 1,200 votes from business people, consultants, academics and MBA students throughout the world.
In June 2008, Harvard Business School Press published Kaplan and Norton's fifth book, "The Execution Premium: How to Link Strategy to Operations for Competitive Advantage", which documents the execution premiums achieved by clients of Palladium. To date, their work has been documented in five bestselling books, eight Harvard Business Review articles, and featured in numerous papers and presentations.
Ibrahim Moosa Jamel, Director for Business Development, Dubai Knowledge Village, said: "The partnership with Palladium Group is in line with DKV's continuous commitment to creating an HRM hub for the region. The exceptional performance frameworks they provide will benefit organizations that earnestly seek to improve their operations."
Some of Palladium Group's global clients include Nokia, Halliburton, UK Ministry of Defence and Qatar Telecom. In the UAE, Palladium provides services to the Dubai Executive Council, Dubai Water and Electricity Authority (DEWA), and Dubai Aluminium.
Established in 2003, Dubai Knowledge Village is home to over 400 professional centres specialized in HR development, professional testing, as well as management training and consultancy services. To date, it has successfully attracted prominent names in the industry such as Hewitt Associates, DBM Arabian Gulf, Sandpiper Management Consultants, among others.
