Functions will also include further elevating the hotels name through the different channels such as social networking sites, blogs, and pod-casting thus boosting the hotel's e-Commerce capabilities to further consolidate its market share regionally and internationally.

Before being formally employed by the hotel, Vaz worked as part of a team that helped set up the IT systems for the hotel, while working as IT supervisor for Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, a Kempinski-managed hotel.
Vaz's previous engagements include stints at Digital Computers before moving to Dolphin Energy and Micro Power Computers holding technical and IT related positions.
Vaz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from University of Portsmouth in the UK, and obtained his Higher National Diploma in Computers from the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
In addition to setting up IT systems and infrastructure, Vaz is also an expert in computer assembly, upgrading and installation, trouble shooting, as well as networking installation and configuration.
