Advertising spending to rise in ME

Spending on advertising in the Middle East is expected to grow at a double-digit rate despite the global financial turmoil, top industry executives said at a press conference on Wednesday. Joseph Ghossoub, President and CEO of The Holding Group, a leading advertising company, said the UAE leads the region in advertising spending due to strong growth in the real estate, tourism and financial sectors. This year's figure is expected to be Dhs2.5bn, reported Gulf News.
