RAK Crown Prince and UNLV delegation discuss academic cooperation

H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, today received Stuart H. Mann, Dean of the William F. Harrah College of Hotel Administration at University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), and an accompanying delegation who called on him at the Al Dhait Palace here.

Sheikh Saud welcomed the delegation and exchanged views on promoting educational cooperation between Ras Al Khaimah and UNLV.

During the meeting, Sheikh Saud gave the delegation an overview of the ongoing developments and projects being implemented in the education sector of the emirate.

He said that Government of Ras Al Khaimah attached prime importance to education and would continue its efforts to expand the educational choices available in the UAE by making the emirate a hub for quality higher education.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud Al Qasimi, Sheikh Salem bin Sultan al Qasimi, Chairman of RAK Civil Aviation, Jihad Quzmar, Legal Advisor, Government of Ras Al Khaimah and Bobby Batmanghelidg, President and CEO of Argentum Development Company, were present at the meeting.

Sheikh Saud also hosted a luncheon in honour of the Dean and the visiting delegation.
