Gastech evolves to meet market needs

The 24th Gastech, hosted by ADNOC & Group of Companies and being held in Abu Dhabi 25-28 May 2009, will therefore include two new relevant and highly topical features 'Investor City' and 'Digital Energy'.

"'Investor City' is the area of the show that will feature those involved in the vital capital market, corporate banking, asset management, assurances, investments, advisory business services, law and litigation, private banking, and auditing and tax services," explains Event Director, Tony Stephenson of dmg world media (uk) ltd.

"'Digital Energy' on the other hand, as would be expected of the diverse IT offering, has an even longer list of exhibiting sectors, and is designed to ensure that providers of digital solutions can demonstrate their technology, application, solutions and services throughout the duration of this year's show.

"These two dedicated areas of the show both combine exhibit space and feature a central presentation area where exhibitors will be able to make presentations each day. Their stands (9m2 and 12m2) in both specialist areas of the show are on the outside of the presentation area ensuring that post-presentation time discussions with our senior level visitors can continue on each exhibiting organisation's themed stand.

Gastech 2008, hosted by the PTT Group and held 10-13 March in Bangkok, Thailand, proved to be a truly record breaking event with 11,526 attending from well over 50 countries and 300 exhibiting companies from 36 countries.

"The quality of our delegates is best summed up by the fact that 33% were Chairmen, Presidents, CEOs, COOs, Vice Presidents, Directors or Managing Directors of gas companies," explains Tony Stephenson. "Our new feature areas are designed to help them source key investment and digital energy-related services."
