The annual Counselling Arabia Conference will focus on transitions in the field of counselling, from client progression to the development of the practitioner. This marks the first time Counselling Arabia will be hosted in the UAE's capital city. The event will feature several esteemed speakers who will present on a range of topics exploring transitions while focusing on issues in the region. Abu Dhabi Women's College is honored to host this year's Counselling Arabia conference as the event reflects the College's commitment to counselling and development for its students, alumnae, faculty and staff.
Now entering its seventh year, Counselling Arabia is an annual event designed for professionals and students in counselling, career development, academic advising and human resources, as well as corporate trainers, social work professionals and special needs practitioners. The Counselling Arabia conference is recognized as an important professional development event for practitioners, both nationally and regionally.

Counselling Arabia has been actively working to progress the professionalization of the field, both in the UAE and the Gulf region. Last year's conference gathered together presenters and participants from across the UAE, the Gulf Region and internationally. The goal of Counselling Arabia is to bring together professionals occupying key positions in public and private sector organizations to discuss, network and develop in their respective professions in order to continually evolve the counselling practices across Arabia.
