Hurt added, "This agreement is in line with our ambitious expansion plans for the U.A.E. and we look ahead to a successful business partnership with Al Jowder. The government and public sector companies represent a major part of UAE's overall market and meeting their documentation requirement will definitely enhance our visibility in the U.A.E."

Chlorine is normally used to give paper its white appearance and it is known that this chemical is particularly harmful to all aquatic species. Giving the fact that UAE's has a long coastline, eliminating this chemical will help preserve our aquatic environment along the Arabian Gulf."

The region has witnessed an economic boom which has resulted in an increase in the demand for digital copier and printer paper. The strategic channel partnership with Al Jowder is a vital move by Xerox to meet its strategic expansion plan for the U.A.E.
