The conference attracts much attention from key members of the government and the financial market, and this year the conference will open with central ministerial figures HE Dr Youssef Boutros-Ghali, Minister of Finance and HE Dr Mahmoud Mohieldin, Minister of Investment.
The conference draws on international experience in leading independent debates with high level decision-makers and is a platform for outlining future banking and financial plans, in an environment conducive to interacting with key stakeholders including top officials, investors, the media and financiers.

And inline with the current economic setting, Ahli United Bank (Egypt) is hosting a workshop entitled 'Securitization' on the first day of the conference. The workshop agenda will tackle and illustrate examples along with highlighting approaches within various economic, social, and institutional contexts.
Topics such as the securitization of mortgage finance portfolios in Egypt, current market dynamics for fixed income instruments and investors' view of asset backed securities will be the major points discussed in an interactive setting.
