Citigold is focused on providing its customers with personalized and comprehensive financial planning solutions to help them achieve their financial goals. The offering is for individuals with a minimum portfolio value of $100,000 whereby Citigold customers are provided with wealth management products to preserve and potentially grow their wealth.

"As the banking industry experiences rapid changes globally, it's important to support customers in these special times and to keep the focus on their evolving needs,"

said Sanjoy Sen, Country Business Manager for Citibank's Consumer Banking business in UAE.

"The 100,000-Mile campaign comes loaded with instant tangible benefits as well as long-term, total-relationship value. The strategic alliance between Citibank and Emirates airlines also ensures that our mutual customers are always enjoying the best-in-market travel rewards."

The Emirates-Citibank Co-branded Ultimate Credit and Debit (Visa) Cards reward customers with Skywards Miles every time customers spend on the Card. Customers can earn bonus Skywards Miles (up to 2) in addition to the Skywards Miles earned on every one US Dollar spent on the Ultimate card. Miles can be exchanged for free flights, flight upgrades, other travel privileges or inspirational shopping at the Emirates High Street.

On average, a typical Emirates-Citibank Credit Cardholder earns enough miles on the card every year in exchange for a free flight according to Citibank statistics, while customers find using the Emirates-Citibank card 400% more useful as compared to an average card in the market according to Visa International statistics.

"This is the first time that there is a 100, 000 Skywards mile offer on banking products", said William Keliehor, Credit Cards Division Head for MEA and Pakistan. "The true power of the Gold Debit and Ultimate Credit Co-branded cards rewards the entire customer relationship for everyday spending on the cards."

Citi has been in the Middle East for nearly 50 years and currently offers consumer-banking services in the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt. In the UAE alone, Citibank, the consumer banking arm of Citi, has had a presence for the past 44 years and is expanding its major operations within the country. They can also earn Miles when staying at Skywards' partner hotels, and using the services of other partners for car hire, and leisure activities and when using co-branded credit cards in association with banks.

Rewards for a passenger's loyalty and business include free flights and upgrades to hundreds of destinations, plus free leisure activities and quality goods.

Recently, the two institutions renewed the Emirates-Citibank co-brand Card agreement for a period of five more years, a move that validates the long-term mutual value generated by the two companies' association.
