Dubai Duty Free and American Express celebrate one year of successful partnership

Dubai Duty Free and American Express celebrated recently the first anniversary of their co-branded Credit Card launched in December 2001.
At a celebratory cake-cutting ceremony held in the shopping complex at Sheikh Rashid Terminal, Colm McLoughlin, Managing Director of Dubai Duty Free said, "The co-branded card has achieved its annual card membership target for the first year, which is commendable. Also in that time, the range of benefits has been extended to provide card members with even greater added value".
Rasool Hujair, Regional Director Gulf Countries, American Express Middle East and North Africa added,"Today is very special for us because it not only commemorates the Dubai Duty Free American Express Credit Card's first anniversary, but it also marks the end of a successful business year for American Express in the GCC."
"We would like to thank our Cardmembers for their support and hope the years to come will be as successful as 2002," continued Hujair, "we are very proud of our fruitful partnership with the Dubai Duty Free and look forward to welcoming many more Cardmembers."
