Rainbeau appears In Dubai

A resident of Los Angeles, California, Rainbeau Mars imparted her innovative style on 60 of Dubai's enthusiasts with two exclusive yoga sessions run by adidas.

The public sessions were the culmination of a 3 week in-store campaign run by adidas entitled "Get Ready to Play Yoga", offering the public a chance to take part in the sessions.

Previous clients under her instruction have included celebrities such as Ben Stiller, Owen Wilson and David Duchovny, alongside sports stars such as Steffi Graf and Laila Ali, the daughter of Mohammed Ali.

Rainbeau Mars kick-started her Dubai yoga day with a private session for 20 Fitness First instructors, held at Layali Terrace, Madinat Jumeirah, Mina A'Salam.

"Yoga can enhance your performance in every aspect of your daily life," said Eduard Massier, marketing and business development director at adidas Emerging Markets.

"It's an immensely popular and growing sport in the UAE. We're delighted to bring Rainbeau Mars to Dubai and give the public a chance to have a session with the leading exponent of the sport."

Rainbeau Mars has been practicing ashtanga yoga for more than 14 years and is credited with pushing the sport to new levels, including the development of 'adidas yoga' based on Ra'Yoka, a unique hybrid of yoga, martial arts and core conditioning.

It is a distinctive combination of breath-centered yoga flow with dynamic lunges and twists, integrating core strength with the fine balance muscles in the joints all while maintaining flexibility.

This yoga expert believes that wearing the right clothes improves her practice because what she wears is representative of her mood at that particular time.

She is the sports ambassador for the adidas women's collection and has worked in collaboration with adidas to develop innovative product concepts, including the recently launched adidas Yatra and TechFit collection of yoga apparel and footwear.
