Set in the heart of the local community area of Qurum, the mall is due to open to the public in October and welcome shoppers with a choice of 75 new retail outlets, promising to become the new downtown shopping hub.
Helped by a record 3.5 million accident-free man-hours on site, a peak workforce of more than 2,000 and despite the storm damage in June 2007, Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls has delivered Qurum City Centre in record time.
The two-level centre, designed by renowned architects Holdford Associates and WS Atkins, will be the first enclosed shopping space in the Qurum area, and the second offering in Oman from Majid Al Futtaim Shopping Malls.
Ibrahim Al Qasmi, spokesperson for Qurum City Centre said: "We are very delighted to announce that families, friends and neighbours from Qurum will very soon be able to shop in the heart of their community in an amazing new mall.
In designing the centre we focussed on our customers' shopping journey. Shoppers will find the layout of the mall logical and easy to navigate and we hope they find what's on offer to be exciting and new."
