The Company's innovative service was introduced in April 2008 to coincide with the annual Formula One event. The convenient service, which continues to grow in popularity, facilitates high speed browsing for Batelco's customers at a very economical cost.

The service allows data card users to access the internet at high speeds, of up to 3.6MB, on any device that supports HSDPA (High Speed Downlink Packet Access) technology, such as HSDPA mobile phones, HSDPA equipped laptops and Batelco O-net devices which are available on an installment basis.

The Prepaid Mobile Broadband service allows you to control your bills. On top of that, Batelco offers free SMSs with the package and a variety of refill options for added convenience. Over and above, customers can always monitor their usage by requesting their balance via SMS.

Ahmed Al Janahi, Batelco General Manager Media & Government Relations, said:
"The prepaid service appeals to students and those who demand a high speed internet speed at a low price, while out and about socializing with friends in shopping malls and coffee shops."

"O-net Mobile Broadband service for prepaid and postpaid customers delivers wireless broadband mobility with the fastest speeds available in the Kingdom and boosts Batelco's extensive variety of world-class products and services," added Mr. Al Janahi.
