  • United Arab Emirates: Wednesday, October 15 - 2008 at 12:01
  • PRESS RELEASE

OKI Printing Solutions, the leader in the global colour printing market, is collaborating with CPI, a partner for the region with IDG, the world's largest ICT publishing house, to bring visitors and exhibitors of Gitex 2008 the latest updates on news and happenings in the show through The Hourly News.

OKI Printing Solutions and CPI will be producing 40,000 hourly newsletters demonstrating the quality, high speed and efficiency of OKI printers. This is the fourth hourly newsletter project that OKI has embarked on over the past two years.

John Ross, general manager, Middle East, India, North East Africa, OKI Printing Solutions, said:
"Thanks to the advanced technology, nowadays, business tends to opt for in-house printing as a more cost effective and time saving solution. By emphasising the SPRINT concept which stands for "Short Print Runs In No Time" we want to demonstrate that in-house printing is possible with the highest speed without compromising efficiency and quality in producing the best output. We believe that The Hourly News will be the best case to prove SPRINT as we will be producing it live for the exhibitors and visitors."

OKI Printing Solutions will be using its C9650 and C9800GA printers for this project. The C9650 allows businesses to consolidate their printing needs into one cost-effective and efficient device, providing businesses with the flexibility to carry out large volume print runs and produce creative documents in-house. It gives businesses the capacity to handle a wide range of printing needs to meet the demands of a busy office. Whilst, OKI C9800GA offers a high quality professional solution for in-house designers, advertising agencies or copy/print shops that need to constantly produce reliable professional colour documents. The C9800GA offers premium print quality with OKI Printing Solutions' new ProQ4800 Multilevel technology, producing accurate, outstanding results with smoother gradations of colour and greater subtlety in tones.

"At OKI Printing Solutions we have the right technology for SPRINT and in-house printing to showcase to business decision maker during Gitex. With our printers and various applications we can guarantee the high performance and finest quality colour output, combined with outstanding speed and accuracy at an affordable cost," added Ross.
