An agreement between Mobily and Al Elm to provide enquiry service on traffic violations via SMS

Mobily has signed an agreement with Al Elm Company, the pioneering Saudi company on secured electronic solutions, to provide an enquiry service on traffic violations via short mobile messages (MMS).

This step will enable Mobily subscribers to enquire about traffic violations through MMS.

Under the agreement Mobily Company will avail the service to all its subscribers who will be able to enquire about traffic violations by sending their ID or Iqama numbers to 625555. They will receive a quick response in a message showing the number of traffic violations and the total amounts of the relevant fines.

Ahmed Al Hashimi, the Vice Executive President of Mobily Company, said:

'this service will help Mobily subscribers to get in contact with one of the most important government departments; the Traffic Department through MMS. The subscriber will be able to get the number of traffic violations and the relevant fines once he sends a short mobile message at the cost of SR1.5 without any other foundation or subscription fees.'



He underlined the keenness of Mobily to provide modern services that save the time and efforts of subscribers, and noted the distinguished experience of Al Elm Information as one of the leading pioneering companies in the field of electronic services.

For his part, the Director of Business Solutions of Al Elm Co. has expressed his pride for his company's relationship with Mobily, outlining that this cooperation comes as part of Al Elm Co. keenness to provide distinguished services for the comfort of Mobily subscribers; both citizens and residents.

Dr. Mohamed Abdul Rahim Al Siddiqi, said:
