Bahrain Air appoints GSA for Abu Dhabi and Al Ain

The Bahrain based Premium with affordable pricing Carrier (PLPC) Bahrain Air, on a massive expansion plan has appointed their GSA for Abu Dhabi & Al Ain region.

Space Int'l Travels LLC, the travel division of the Abu Dhabi headquartered EMKE Group will be the GSA for this region.

An agreement to this effect was signed between Mr. Ibrahim A. Al Hamer, Managing Director, Bahrain Air and Mr. Yusuffali MA, Managing Director, EMKE Group at a formal function held at Abu Dhabi.

Bahrain Air which started operations in February this year, currently connects 10 major destinations including Dubai, Doha, Jeddah, Amman, Alexandria, Aleppo, Kochi, Damascus, Beirut, Mashhad and immediate plans include new destination viz., Kuwait, Aswan and Asyut and Khartoum.

Commenting on the new GSA appointment Mr. Ibrahim A. Al Hamer said

"We are very delighted to be associating with the highly diversified EMKE Group, who has such proven track record in being number one in whichever sphere of activities they are involved in. By signing this agreement we just added another milestone to Bahrain Air's business plan and it will allow us to support and carry passengers to and from Abu Dhabi in the near future. Furthermore this will also help us to serve the increasing passengers' demand for the low products and services from the Capital and Garden City of the UAE to the Kingdom of Bahrain and subsequently to the other destinations we operate."


The airline operates fleet of modern Airbus 320 flights with 12 Premium Class and 150 Economy seats capacity, all furnished with comfortable lavish leather in both cabins, ensuring transit passengers have convenient and seamless connections through Bahrain International Airport (BIA) to their final destinations under one hour, thereby making the airline the ideal option for their travel between the GCC and other international destinations beyond Bahrain.

Moreover premium class passengers can enjoy exclusive business class lounge at the departure airports and other standard business class services.

Though the main concept is affordable pricing, Bahrain Air offers both Premium as well as Economy Class to the passengers and varieties of in-flight entertainment options while flying and will have the opportunity to select and buy from a wide choice of duty free items competitively priced.
