• Design reflects a sense of grandeur, space and luxury
• Design inspirations derived from region's landscapes

The second tallest building in Downtown Burj Dubai, at 306 metres, the property soars 63 floors high, and is set against the backdrop of Burj Dubai, the world's tallest tower.

Sporting an elegant façade, the post-modern architectural splendour of The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai is crowned with designs reminiscent of the art deco era. The organic and curvilinear form of the building lends itself to an interesting flow throughout and unusual shapes and forms make up all spaces. The design inspirations are derived from regional landscapes while reflecting a sense of grandeur, space and luxury.

Starting at the spectacular lobby, guests are met with first-class hospitality in a soothing setting that ensures a luxurious and instantly relaxing ambience. The space flows with ease towards the Lobby Lounge, where the eye is drawn to the double height glazing that maximizes the stunning views across the Burj Dubai Lake, Old Town and Burj Dubai. From the lobby to the restaurants and public areas, each space has been tastefully designed and decorated to create a truly hospitable and memorable experience.

Mr Marc Dardenne, Chief Executive Officer, Emaar Hospitality Group said: "The overall inspiration for the interiors was taken from the dramatic and diverse landscapes of the Gulf region. The rugged mountains of the 'Hajar', the golden sand dunes of the desert, the brilliant hues of the Arabian sea and the reds, oranges and golds of the beautiful sunsets are all reflected in the architectural and design facets of the hotel."

He added: "The hotel incorporates an exciting mix of texture and colour to create breathtaking design features. Rough stone work, warm wood textures and smooth transparent glass contrast throughout the hotel to present dramatic finishes. The attention to the finer details and addition of specifically designed sculptures and ornate artistic glass pieces add to the overall sophisticated and spacious feel of the hotel."

Comfortable and elegant furniture has been interspersed with unusual accent pieces and 'organic' style accessories. Striking sculptures are displayed in all areas of the hotel, including contemporary and abstract pieces from Alan Meyburgh. His 3.5 meters, four-piece collection "Circle of life in the ocean" was inspired by the artist's love for nature and natural forms. Located at the hotel entrance, the impressive free form sculpture, 'La Concha', was created by Stephen Berlino and deriving design cues by the nautilus sea shell complementing the hotel's overall design themes.

Vibrant works by UK artist Amanda Brisbane are located throughout the hotel. Her main sculpture "Megareus" located in the lobby reflects the features of a collection of conch shells with their organic spirals having been eroded by the sea, leaving wonderful forms. The piece weighs approximately 3 tonnes with over 300 pieces incorporated. Her glass sculptures, with orange and brown hues reflect the rich sunsets and golden colours of the desert.

The contemporary design of the building displays an impressive 553,000 Bohemian cut crystals forming sparkling modern curtains thought the hotel. Its lighting adds mood, depth and drama to the interior spaces.

The large and airy guest rooms all offer splendid views of Burj Dubai, adding to the magnificence of the property. As with the general feel of the rest of the hotel, the guest rooms featuring marble bathrooms, contrast light colours with natural dark wood features and furnishings. The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai's ballroom has impressive floor-to-ceiling windows that open to Burj Dubai. Visitors can enjoy 1,000 square meters of swimming pool in five separate, tiered pools with an infinity pool drawing on the complete sense of space the hotel offers.

The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai aligns with the brand's positioning of 'Where life happens', signifying the place to be - to do business, relax and socialise. With a 'one size fits one' strategy, The Address, Downtown Burj Dubai offers a more personal and experiential approach to guests in a spectacular lifestyle environment reflecting a blend of rich cultural roots and modern convenience.
