Samsung leaves big imprint at Gitex with its latest printer lineup.
The company introduced eight new models of laser printers and multi-function products (MFPs), which incorporate design and connectivity capabilities to improve workflow efficiencies.

Madhav Narayan, General Manager of the IT Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said:
"Samsung is focused on delivering printing devices and solutions to meet the needs of individuals and businesses of all sizes. From the world's smallest colour laser printer and the fastest A4 digital MFPs, to the first managed print service that is scalable for small offices all the way up to corporations, Samsung now offers one of the industry's widest selections of printers, MFPs and print solutions."

"We are happy to display our full range of new printers at Gitex this year, giving the chance to all users and IT managers to have a close look at the products and check their outstanding features," added Narayan.

Design Leadership:

By challenging the traditional "big and bulky" image of colour laser devices with sleek and stylish printers and MFPs, Samsung is bringing design and style to laser printers and MFPs. With these latest additions, Samsung has broken its own world record for the smallest colour laser printer and MFP. The new CLP-315 colour printer is the smallest, quieter and lightest by far, while the CLX-3175FN is even smaller than a mono MFP, but supporting all colour function.

Samsung's innovative and stylish printers have been recognised with awards from the world's three major product design competitions, IF (Germany), IDEA (US), and Reddot (Germany). By adopting a premium black gloss finish, several of Samsung's new printers and MFPs add contemporary edge to modern offices, including the ML-1640, SCX-4300 and the CLP-315 and the CLX-3175FN.

Mono Multi Function and Laser Printers:

Samsung now offers different multi function printers, including the SCX-4300, SCX-6555N, and the ML-1640. These devices are the ultimate in efficiency for print, scan and copy. SCX4300 is small, yet very powerful. It cranks out 600 x 600 dpi documents at a rate of 19 ppm. It also has a monthly duty cycle of 10,000 pages.

The Samsung SCX-6555N delivers high performance with a 250,000 pages-per month duty cycle, 3,240-sheet paper capacity, and an open architecture that enables advanced document workflow solutions. The SCX-6555N comes loaded with productivity enhancing features like an intuitive 7-inch colour touch-screen control panel, 80 GB hard drive, advanced colour scanning capabilities and more.

Samsung ML-1640 is ergonomically designed to complement any modern business or home office with its compact size and attractive, modern style. Speed is another impressive aspect of the ML-1640.

Clocking in at 16ppm for A4 and 17ppm for letter size, its printout rate compares favorably even next to other printers. This rapid performance saves valuable time working time.

Colour Multi Function:

Samsung offers also printers for office workgroup, colour laser MFPs that adapt themselves to all businesses. The Samsung CLX-6240FX colour laser MFP is customisable to the unique workflow requirements. The CLX-6240FX also gives stacks of high-quality colour documents while saving stacks of money, and features a low cost per page and low inital cost.

The Samsung MultiXpress CLX-8380ND delivers impressive colour documents with the efficiency of a copier, but at a fraction of the price. It prints up to 100,000 pages per month, has a 2,720-sheet paper capacity and print speeds up to 40 ppm.
