Nissan in JV to boost car sales in ME

Nissan Motor Co and Al Dahana have established a joint venture company - Nissan Gulf - to enhance Nissan's marketing and sales strategy in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Kuwait and Bahrain, with the aim of selling 160,000 vehicles a year by 2012. The four markets together are expected to account for more than 40% of Nissan's sales in the region by 2012, according to a statement.
