Panasonic Marketing Middle East Product Manager Shimpei Tsujigami, says:
"We take great pride in the fact that Panasonic VIERA TVs offer the highest contrast ratio among any plasma display panel TVs currently available in the market."
"The stunning blacks that are reproduced on these plasma TVs are capable of recreating true to life images. This combined with the excellent Motion Picture Response and Digital Cinema Colour enhancements offer viewers a deeply moving viewing experience," he adds.
"Panasonic is committed to becoming the customers' preferred number one brand by enhancing the overall quality of its products through a unique combination of innovative technologies, ease of use, sleek and trendy designs as well as environmental considerations," adds Tsujigami.
All models feature a viewing angle of more than 170 degrees, which means viewers can watch the TV from almost all angles without any compromise in picture quality.
"We have also improved the sound system from previous models to offer superb sound quality and smaller speakers to enhance the aesthetics of the new PY850 models," adds he.
Panasonic have made flat panel TVs easy to operate through the VIERA Link, which connects the TV to other equipment such as a DVD player via a single HDMI cable. Customers now only need one remote control to run the TV and other media players. The built in SD Card slot enables viewing of JPEG photos as well as allowing for playback of AVCHD-encoded video clips recorded onto the card.
"Based on the three key words of thin, light and wide, our designers have managed to combine functional beauty with formative art to harmonize with virtually any interior space," Tsujigami says.
With Panasonic's firm commitment to embrace all things "green" and eco-friendly, Panasonic's environmental dedications start at the design stage.
"Panasonic VIERA TVs are the world's only lead free plasma panels. We are committed to conserving the earth and its resources from our green products. An example of how we are minimising environmental pollution is the upgrade of VIERA panel life to 100,000-hours," says Tsujigami. "What's more, VIERA functions now include a new ECO mode to help reduce power consumption."
The name VIERA comes from "Visual Era" and implies Panasonic's wish to create a new Visual Era and to be a pioneer of next generation in both technology and environmental conservation.
