Motorola's Biometrics Business sold to Safran

SAFRAN has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the biometric business unit within Motorola, Inc. through Sagem Sécurité. The deal includes Motorola's Printrak trademark. The acquisition has been approved by Motorola and SAFRAN, but transaction is targeted to close first quarter of 2009 and is subject to customary closing conditions and regulatory approvals.
