The service involves collection of HP Notebooks and Desktops that require repairing from the customer directly with a return time of within 7 working days.

The Pick Up and Return initiative covers HP Pavilion and Presario Consumer notebooks and desktops under warranty.

After a successful pilot scheme last month, the service will be available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Kuwait City, Jeddah, Dammam and Riyadh.

The customer is simply required to contact HP Consumer Support Call Center to request collection, to be delivered to the local service centre for repair, and returned to the customer once fixed.

"The Pick Up and Return service means customers can rely on HP to not only meet their technology needs, but HP continue supporting them during the use of these products." said Anil Kumar, General Manager, PSG, HP Middle East.

"There is a real demand for a collection and repair service in the Middle East, and HP is delighted to offer a more personal service to its valued customers," added Kumar.

HP is working with its partners, Redington and Cupola and plans to extend the service in the future to other locations in the region and for products out of warranty.
